This article is about “Wp gallery exif reader”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Wp gallery exif reader”:

Thankfully, this article will take care of a few of those questions for you. We’ve compiled a list of 24 plugins that you should take a look at. These plugins are all compatible up to Wordpress 2.7, and most of them have 1000 downloads or less-which means, chances are good you’ll be at the front of the trend.

These plugins are broken down into four categories: Those that make day-to-day blogging easier, those that will build your readership, those that will make you money, and those that are really just, well, bling for the blog. We’re certain that within this list, you’ll find at least a few plugins that will make your blog better.

So, without further ado, let’s get started!

Making Things Easier

Google Integration Toolkit – This nifty little plugin brings the power of Google website tools to your Wordpress blog. Once it’s installed, you can see how your site is indexed in Google, get detailed stats, earn money, and much more.

Tweetbacks – If you’re like us, you like to know if people are discussing your blog. Maybe you even have a Google Alert set up for your name or your blog’s title. Tweetbacks allows you to find out right away if someone is twittering about your blog. Any tweets about your posts are imported as comments on your blog, ensuring that conversations are brought back where you can foster discussion (and get more pageviews!), which we think is pretty spiffy.

WP-Optimize - is a database cleanup tool. It lets you manage databases without going to your blog’s cpanel or phpMyAdmin. This means you can delete comments, manage posts, or even change usernames.

Real IP – Ever gotten comments from someone who’s behind a proxy or private IP? Never again. Real IP does exactly what it says: it corrects the comment’s address and shows you where they really are. Not only that, it does it with no special tweaking or settings-it just works right out of the box.

Full Circle - If you’re like me, you make sure to announce your posts on your social networks like Facebook and Twitter. After all, what’s the point of new posts if no one knows about them? Full Circle automatically updates your Facebook and Twitter with your new posts, and also allows you to add links to a host of other social networks to the bottom of your updates. This means that your readers can share your posts with their social networks as well.

Post to Post Links II – takes care of a nifty little problem most WP users have run into at least once-the loss of valid links between posts when the site structure is updated. Post to Post uses shortcode to link between posts, categories, pages, or even tags. The bottom line is, your links will always be valid-even if you update your permalink structure. Post to Post also works splendidly with the Koumpounophobia plugin. If you have that installed as well, you will get a button installed in the HTML editor that does the shortcodes for you.

Twitter Links Plus+ is another plugin used to integrate the wonder of Twitter and the awesome goodness of Wordpress. It looks for Twitter usernames mentioned in posts, pages and comments, and then converts that Twitter name to a link to their profile page. This means that if Sally123 comments on your blog and you reply @Sally123, Twitter Links will convert that to a link to Sally’s userpage on Twitter. Overall, it’s a nifty little tool, especially if you already see a lot of crossover between your blog and your Twitter account.

WP Gallery EXIF Reader - For those with photoblogs, this could be the next “must-have” plugin. EXIF information, embedded inside images by the camera at the time of image creation, tells the viewer everything about how the camera was set at that precise moment. It’s a valuable tool for novice photographers and professionals alike. EXIF Reader takes that information from the image and displays it next to the photo-it’s that simple. It uses shortcode, and is specifically designed for users without access to the php_exif extension on their servers.

Dynamic Headers – as its owner puts it, “fills a void that has been present for a while in Wordpress.” Small on code and fast in loading speed, Dynamic Headers does what it says-it allows you to specify header material on your blog, instead of just using whatever your theme offers. What makes this plugin so special, however, is that not only can you have any image file or even a Flash movie, but you can specify a different header for posts, pages, and your front page. Just remember, if you use Wordpress’ automatic upgrade option, it will overwrite your custom headers. Backups are your friend!

postMash – gives you the ultimate power: the ability to display your posts in whatever order you want. For those who have taken Wordpress to the next level and have a content management system (CMS), this plugin will be especially handy to have.

Greg’s Comment Length Limiter – is a basic plugin with a single function. It sets a configurable limit on any comment’s length. Offering a character countdown for users that updates as they type, it keeps commenters abreast of how close they’re getting to the character limit.

Tune Library - lets you import your XML iTunes Library into your Wordpress blog. What does this mean to you? It means you can post a listing of your entire music collection. Pretty spiffy, huh?

- Ever had a theme that you thought would be just perfect…IF it was a different color? Theme Tweaker lets you make those changes. It takes the current colors on your theme, and offers a color picker so that you can change anything you want. Preview options keep you from unveiling your creation before it’s perfect, and bulk options allow you to change the whole thing at once if you’d like. Thes best part? You can save the child theme without overwriting your master theme.

Feed Reading Blogroll – is a neat plugin that improves your links list. By retrieving the date of the most recent feed-item of each bookmark, Google’s API calculates the item’s age and displays it in the sidebar.

Sideposts Widget – puts a category of your choice in the sidebar, and only lets posts in that category show. Helpful for any number of things, from short observations to quick links, SidePosts is a great little addition to your plugin repository.

Build Your Readership

Add Users Sidebar Widget – This is a simple piece of code that allows your readers to add themselves to your blog user list. It bypasses the need for a separate register page, and capitalizes on “impulse users.”

Whisper Comment – controls comment visibility. While you as the site owner can view all comments, it lets users carry on conversations with each other as well that are “private” on the blog post.

Meet Your Commenters uses the Google Social Graph API to display the profiles and web pages of your users on your dashboard. Especially useful for political bloggers, networkers, or hobby bloggers.

OpenID – is all the rage. It gives users the opportunity to join websites while using the same username and password for them all. This plugin brings that functionality to Wordpress as well. It also allows users to convert their WP password to an OpenID, which means they can use their Wordpress ID anywhere OpenID is accepted.

works in tandem with the OpenID plugin, making it possible for people to not only use their OpenID to log in, but also their Yahoo, Flickr, Google, or other IDs as well.

Comment Inbox – handles comments in a bit of a backwards way that actually seems to work quite well. Instead of keeping comments in a moderation queue so that they cannot be seen until you deal with them, Comment Inbox allows them to post on the blog until you decide differently. They show up in your “comment inbox” and you can choose what to do with them at that point. However, it still handles spam and “bacn” so that it never sees the light of day.

Stumble! for Wordpress – increases your pageviews by using a capability similar to StumbleThru. It can either allow random post viewing, or integrate with Yet Another Related Posts Plugin to only offer related posts for users to “stumble” upon.

User Community – lets you manage extended user profiles, sort userlists, and display them in various formats to give users a sense of community on your site.

Make Money

Amazon Machine Tags – helps you include Amazon items in your posts through the use of tags. It works with both Bunny’s Technorati Tags and Jerome’s Keywords to bring a seamless integration of Amazon items, along with using your associate ID to make sure you get paid for purchases your readers make.

AdSense Now! – for Wordpress puts Google AdSense code in your pages while keeping in mind the Google Terms of Service. It has a simple interface, easy configuration, and does its job. What more could you ask for?

Job Listing – our last-but-not-least entrant, gives you the ability to make money off a customizable job posting board. Part of an affiliate program, the plugin lets users filter jobs, apply for them, use templates, and much more. The best part is, it’s fully integrating with your site, and uses a sidebar widget to display in your blog proper.

While this is by no means an exhaustive list of the best plugins, it is definitely a list of plugins you need to take a look at. You might find them all to be fantastic, and you may only use one. But if even one of these plugins helps your blog, we’ve done our job!

This article is about “Wordpress newsletter plugin”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Wordpress newsletter plugin”:

The WordPress platform for blogging is probably the most popular for it’s ease of use and availability of multitude of themes and plugins available. Not to mention that it is totally free to use and unlike Blogger you keep total control of it’s hosting. You don’t have to fear that Blogger/Google will change the rules on you or even suspend your site.

Yes there are other platform like Joomla, Type Pad, Blogger and B2Evolution but if you aspire to be a serious blogger and to make a living blogging you should use WordPress.

One of the main reasons to use WordPress is the fact that Google loves bloggers and especially loves WordPress so it is easier to rank well with the search engines. For example you will want to include a Site Map, Privacy Policy, Terms Of Use etc and if you are an Internet Marketer, the first thing you will want to do is build a list of subscribers by installing an opt in form on your blog.

Just last week I had the chance to download, and test out a great plugin. It simply magnetizes your visitors into subscribing to your newsletter of opt in form in a very subtle way.

In my humble and neutral opinion it is one of the best plugin available to bloggers out there especially if your intentions are to blog for profit. It has a proven track record of building your email list at lightning speed by using the technology in some one-of-kind and unique way which is totally new and yet has an impact.

The options of adding your opt-in form all throughout your blog is available right out of the box and it really does lure your visitors to join your list, in an user friendly manner. The cool thing is that when your visitors are looking at your blog this plugin automatically fills the visitors’ name/email in the opt-in form on your blog. There is no need for them to manually type in their name e and mail anymore. It’s all done for them. Cool no!

You could add your form in the sidebar of the blog, in the footer bar, within the post itself and even in the comments which is great. Furthermore, YOU decide of the look, feel, location and how your form behaves; and of course it works with AWeber, Get Response, and all the other major auto responders out there?

It is just too EASY to use; you don’t need to know any html coding or programming at all. The problem with this plugin is that it could attract the black hat guys that always like to cut corners with easy and rapidly implementable method and tricks.

However, for smart and ethical bloggers, the sign-up rate could actually triple overnight, without you intervening to increase the number of visitors to your blog site.

No need to battle to get more visitors when you can triple the conversion of your existing traffic. Isn’t this fantastic!

If you’re all for optimization, we can bet on it that you’re going to really appreciate this amazing plugin – guaranteed! It’s creator Pawan Agrawal has outdone himself with this one.

I. Overview of Topic

How to blog is a question on many people’s minds these days. Blogging has taken the world by storm. Since 2004, when it first made its appearance, this popular medium of having your own little corner of the world to express yourself has turned into a veritable deluge. Today there are more than 120 million blogs that are currently tracked by the Tecnorati blog search engine. No wonder then, that owning and maintaining a blog has become almost a fashion statement, especially in the U.S.

When first embarking on a blogging journey, there are some knotty questions that usually beset one’s mind regarding how to blog. Let’s start with the basics.

What kinds of topics can be the subjects of blogs?

Just about anything. Simply put, a blog is an online personal diary on just about any topic you care to write about, ranging from politics to sports and fitness to religion, health, freelancing, literature, or whatever suits your fancy. But picking a subject you have solid experience in will enable you to write meaningful content that will pull in an audience for your blog. Without an audience you’ll soon tire of your blog and it will join the millions of abandoned blogs lost in cyberspace.

How are blogs categorized in blog search engines?

Blog search engines like Technorati and IceRocket categorize them by subject. The most general categorization, though, is personal vs. business-oriented blogs. Yours will probably fit into the former of these categories.

Are blogs only text or can they have other features as well?

Though basically consisting of text, many blog users make their web pages more attractive by adding pictures, audio and video files.

How can I make my blog easy to navigate and attractive to readers?

A successful blog usually follows a clear simple format with its articles plainly delineated, archives (in a sidebar), and a place at the bottom for visitors to leave comments. Some also include blogrolls, which are just lists of links to other similar blogs. The best bloggers are usually people who are able to connect with their visitors’ emotions, by means of artistic expression in many cases. To learn how to blog with the winners your number one teacher is other blogs – read and study a lot of them before starting your own. A good place to research blogs on your topic is Icerocket.com.

What are some tips for setting up a blog?

- First, remember your blog is a reflection of your personality. Pick a theme or a topic close to your heart or one you know something about. Correction, one you know a lot about.

- Be consistent. If you want your blog to get really popular you need to connect with your visitors on a regular, predictable schedule. Plan on publishing at least twice a week. If that sounds like too much work, once a week is the absolute lowest you can go, say blog gurus.

- Connect/network. Connect with other blog writers by leaving comments on their posts and by providing links to their blogs on your website. This kind of networking will do wonders for your traffic.

- Keep it simple. Don’t clutter up your blog with meaningless details. Select a simple clean appealing design. Use fonts and colors which increase text visibility. Add videos, audios, photographs and music files only if these make your blog more attractive and/or useful.

- Don’t stick your neck out – or not too far anyway. Blogs can get opinionated, which is fine, but don’t put yourself at risk of a heavy-duty defamation suit. It’s fine to express your opinions – so long as you make it clear they’re just that, your opinions — and always be sure that your blog is not defaming somebody, divulging sensitive information, or giving away corporate secrets.

Okay, I get the feel about how to blog. Now where do I go from here?

To get started, you first need to select suitable weblog software. This is necessary in order to create and manage your blog. There’s quite an assortment of blogging software out there. Some offer ease of design and development while other programs offer more elaborate features, for example, allowing you to add discussion forums, message boards etc. Some weblogs can be downloaded and installed directly on your system. Freeware and open source software are available, though these programs are not as feature-rich as some of the paid proprietary software. Here’s a rundown of the most popular blogging software:

Wordpress

Wordpress is the number one blog publishing software. Why? — because it’s freeware, easy to install, and has a minimal learning curve. Its extensive documentation and step-by-step installation guide make it a cakewalk even for a novice user. Among its most salient features are –

Easy installation – Even a newbie can get Wordpress up and going in 5 minutes. Moreover, web pages are generated dynamically by using thousands of built-in templates thereby greatly reducing your time and effort.

User Management – Restricts access to users while you’re making modifications in your weblog. So in effect you have separate access for readers and administrative users.

Saves precious bandwidth through its Gzip feature, which reduces blog transmission size.

Enables you to place RSS feeds into your blogs and also aids in inter-blog communication by providing features like pingback and trackback.

Comes with lots of plugins making it possible for you to incorporate any feature you want. You can also integrate Wordpress with Akismet, a popular anti-spam software program used to protect blogs from spammers.

Other useful features include a database of visitors, capability to save previous drafts, blog previews, and easy formatting.

Want to see some popular blogs that use Wordpress. Two to start with are: Ilovetypography and Problogger.

OTHER WEBLOG SOFTWARE

Typepad

Created and owned by Six Apart Limited, Typepad is a blog hosting website currently used by many large organizations in the US, such as Sky News, BBC, and MSNBC for hosting their weblogs. Launched in October 2003, Typepad today can boast that it’s the number one paid blogging service worldwide. Available in multiple languages in different parts of the world, users have three different subscription options: $4.50/month for a basic subscription to $14.50/month for the pro edition. Among its features: The software enables you to associate each article in your blog with a URL, and easy uploading and sharing photo albums from multiple authors have made this a vox populi among professional bloggers. So if writing is your passion and you want to make it a profession, you can start by signing up for Typepad.

Movable Type

The first blogging system developed by Six Apart Limited in 2001, Movable Type hosts some of the world’s top blogs, such as Huffington Post and Boing Boing. Developed using Perl, Movable Type supports LDAP protocol for efficient user management and automatic provisioning of blogs. This blogging system is extremely useful if you want to run multiple blogs using a single installation. The system is enriched with all possible features you could possibly think of, such as a customizable template library, ability to create categories and sub categories of articles, efficient user management directory servers and hordes of independent plugins that can be used to support different services, like creating discussion forums. This blogging system is an attractive choice if you have a technical bent.

Text Pattern

Developed by Dean Allen as an open source content management system, this is one of the simplest blogging systems available today. The most useful feature of Text Pattern is textile that helps in converting simple text documents into stylish HTML web pages using built-in style sheets. Text Pattern has a built-in CSS editor that simplifies the task of changing your web site’s designs, fonts, position of the text and the background color. You can also password-protect certain sections of your blogs and keep regular track of visitors and their comments. The date and time stamp of each article is adjustable and you can save drafts of your blogs for future publication. What makes it most attractive is that Text Pattern provides a built-in search engine and the users can also link XML feeds into their blogs. The simplicity of Text Pattern is its USP. For most beginners choosing this service is almost a nobrainer.

Blogger

Developed by Pyra Systems and bought by Google in 2003, Blogger is one of the most popular blogging systems to date. Google subsequently acquired Picasa in 2004 and integrated the latter’s photo sharing feature ‘Hello’ into Blogger. Alexa ranks Blogger as the 9th most visited site worldwide, indicating its enormous popularity. Blogger offers multiple author support allowing the user to create group blogs. Bloggers can even earn revenue from Google AdSense by integrating it into their blogs. Another interesting feature provided by Blogger is a free add-in for Microsoft Word called “Blogger for Word” that helps blog users save their blogs directly in Blogger from their Word document. Bloggers can also customize their blog templates as per personal preferences. For users having a Google email account, it is a pretty simple matter to link to Blogger and then start writing and maybe earning some extra income.

In addition to the above five blogging systems there are a number of up-and-coming lesser-known blog systems which include all the aforementioned features but don’t require any plugins for extending their feature list. Some of the best of these second-line blogging systems are:

Habari

Habari, meaning ‘news’ in Swahili, is one of the most promising new blogging platforms and one of the finalists in the ‘Best New Projects in 2008′ Sourceforge Community Choice Award. Habari allows the user to launch multiple blogs using a single installation, supports multiple writers and has a modular structure for easy extendibility. All these features will make Habari a formidable competitor in blog publishing.

Symphony

Created for ultra-serious bloggers, Symphony has been developed in XML and XSLT. This is a blogging system for web developers and has an MVC architecture which gives the blogger full control over their website. An extremely versatile system, Symphony can be customized to a high level making it popular among bloggers who want to keep a tight grip on all aspects of their website.

Pixie

Positioning itself as a small, simple website maker, Pixie is also a great blogging platform for all of you who are new to the world of blogging. Ease of installation, lots of creative CSS themes, search engine optimized clean URLs for your website, spam protection, a file manager which supports tags for easy sorting of files and a small memory requirement of just 1 MB are some of the features which explain

Pixie’s fast-rising popularity.

That’s it, our ten minutes are up (okay, maybe eleven or twelve). Below are additional resources on How to Blog.

II. FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Following are additional research resources on “How to Blog.”

Tumblr

Tumblr is a popular micro-blogging site where users create and share small posts of about 140 words or less. What makes these micro-blogs, popularly known as tumblelogs, all the rage is their ease of customization and the freedom they provide for posting everything from photos to quotes, to emails, and even links. Moreover, signing up for Tumblr really does take only about 10 seconds. More and more people are attracted to micro-blogging due to its capability for posting short, incisive and hopefully witty messages about the poster’s latest doings, inventions, discoveries, observations, misadventures, etc. Tumblelogs even make it possible for people to post their art works and music audios and videos for public viewing.

Clubmom

If you are a homemaker who loves sharing recipes, health tips, beauty secrets and child care advice and also love getting similar words of wisdom from others, Clubmom is the place for you. It’s a blogging site/forum where moms can meet and share their experiences while at the same time having a chance at winning exciting gifts. From family anecdotes to home remedies, careers to kids, this is a bonding place for moms of all age groups. Joining Clubmom means connecting with individuals at a personal level and sharing information which benefits all.

Reason#3: Search Engine Optimization

Bogs are very important for Search Engine Optimization purposes. Blog pages tend to rank better on search engines and this is one of the reasons why nearly all successful websites have blogs attached to them. In fact they may be running totally on blog platforms. Blogs have the unique ability to ping search engine whenever a new update is made. This means that your site receives multiple chances to rank on the search engines result pages. Each new post on a blog, no matter how short it is will be considered as a new page. Each has an equal change to rank on the first page of the search engines, depending on the determining factors that decide its place in the rankings.

Reason#4: Current News

Blog lets the readers in on the most current information available. For websites, the information may be outdated and applies when they were published Blog pages lets people publish any new updates in a jiffy with a click of a button which makes it extremely easy to publish those information on the Internet. People always want to be the first to know about a certain development so blogs is a great way to let the new information be disseminated to the masses.

Reason#5: Ease of Maintenance

This is a very easy platform to maintain; in fact blogs are a great way to let you enjoy everything the cyberspace offers without the hassles of learning complicated programming language. Blogs lets anyone with an Internet access to post messages and share knowledge and ideas online. It does not require huge costs to set up either. Most blog platforms are free and you can register for one anytime and start blogging right away! If you desire your own blog with a domain name, then get one from any of the registrars and you can setup a free word press blog using the built-in installer and viola you are ready to blog your heart out in an instant.

WordCamp, Utah

September 27, 2008.

Matt Mullenweg, one of the founding developers of WordPress was the keynote speaker at Saturday’s WordCamp event in Provo, Utah. His speech included a summary of WordPress developments this year and included a large list of what’s next for the fast-growing, free blogging service.

The WordPress blogging service started with only 5 developers and 2 blogs. In the beginning the developers focused on building a system for friends who were not technical in order to help them join the web community. The goal was to develop something that was both simple and user friendly. Currently WordPress.com has about 4 million new posts and 6.5 billion page views per month. WordPress has had a strong development schedule which has continued to accelerate.

WordPress 2008 Year-in-Review

In 2007 there were 1090 commits made and so far in 2008 there are already 2840. WordPress has made 11 releases in the last year alone which is much higher than normal. The WordPress team also just added 3 new core developers increasing the development team back to five full time members. The upcoming WordPress 2.7 release is currently scheduled for November 2008.

In the year 2007 there were 2,849,349 downloads of WordPress tracked and in 2008 they have already surpassed 11 million downloads. This number does not include the number of downloads and installs from hosting companies which would significantly increase that number.

Combating Blog Spam

Over 5 billion spams were caught in the last year with 99.925% accuracy using the WordPress Akismet plugin. This shows that Akismet is staying very high on accuracy. There is a new type of spam that is now getting through due to spammers being very clever. They are starting to copy comments on other posts and change the URL referenced to gain a free link. Spammers are also paying people to go in and leave relevant comments and spam you with their links in them. The most common is spammers leaving kind remarks and compliments and having the webmaster approve the messages due to them feeling flattered by the positive remarks.

WordPress Mobility

Due to the website friendly nature of the iPhone and the success of the iPhone application (over 100k installs) WP is considering the creation of some new apps for other platforms as well including the blackberry and other mobile handsets.

WordPress Plugins

WordPress plans on improving their observance of plugin stats. Mullenweg mentioned there is a plan to watch the bottom 1000 plugins to find the new and upcoming trends. It is easier to see what is gaining fast popularity when monitoring the tail end of the plugins. He also mentioned the use of intelligent tails or the monitoring of the use of plugins and packages in order to gain valuable intelligence from the free market. Currently there are a huge number of features brought in via plugins. He mentions a few examples such as one that does real estate management and another that is an independent record label system.

Thoughts on PHP5

Matt Mullenweg predicted that PHP5 would fail early on due to its lack of major changes. He was wrong and fully admits it. PHP5 is now being used to host WordPress in 79% of WordPress installs. This means that when PHP4 usage falls below 10% or so they will pull the trigger and move ongoing development and support to PHP5 only. This will allow them to speed up and optimize the WP system.

The Future of WordPress – WordPress 2.7 Live Demo

Included during his speech was a live demo of WordPress 2.7. Version 2.7 is expected to be released sometime during November of 2008 and currently has 13,000 blogs testing it.

One of the key features of 2.7 will include a dashboard redesign. Mullenweg began by apologizing for a lack of tests regarding usability with a previous dashboard redesign. This time there is much more focus on ensuring that there won’t be issues such as the large number of user complaints which came with the removal of the edit feature in comments.

Version 2.7 also introduces a number of major changes with one of the largest being the dashboard navigation being moved to the left hand side. This new navigation has expandable categories that can be viewed in real time when you click them (i.e. no waiting for the page to reload etc.) The right side of the default dashboard setup has a quick blog post and the center features an inbox. The dashboard still has stats and other dashboard features WordPress blog owners will be familiar with. The whole dashboard has been built in ajax which allows changes to be made on the fly. Users will therefore be able to, for example, drag a section in between columns to move stuff over and around as well as the ability to hide or show specific sections.

Other key changes include:

A new sticky posts feature which will allow bloggers to keep important or interesting posts at the top of their blog’s homepage.

An insert media button has been added which allows for one click uploading of pictures, video, audio, etc. WordPress will automatically know what to do with the media uploads and will set them up appropriately.

Inline editing – you can see your actual blog and quickly edit tags, categories etc, or mass edit an entire batch of posts at once to add new tags etc.

Comments API – most commonly people edit comments and check stats, now you can moderate, approve, delete etc. and reply to comments via your mobile phone as well as the dashboard. Comments can now be threaded (you can enable it and have limits set etc.) which allows you to have conversations without the current hacks that people do to keep a conversation linear.

Keyboard Shortcuts introduced for moderating comments

Automatic plugin installation and upgrades via the browser. This includes the ability to search, upload, upgrade, install, and manage plugins from within the dashboard. It will also allow for one click installs for plugins that are in the WordPress.org library. Mullenweg also mentioned a goal of including this same feature for themes in the future (i.e. search, install, upgrade etc. all with a simple, intuitive interface).

Upgrades – one click installers built into the WordPress.org website.

Security is an increasingly important aspect of WordPress development. Currently there are over 20 US government entities using WP including: Air Force, Army CIA, Coast Guard, Department of Energy, Homeland Security, State Treasury, DEA, Marine Corps, FBI, National Security Agency, Navy, National Reconnaissance Agency, Geospatial Intelligence Agency, and the Defense Intelligence Agency.

Mullenweg also discussed what he considers to be upcoming blogging trends. The use of media, namely photo galleries and videos are going to become more main-stream in blogs. Additionally this includes bloggers making posts that can just be a comment, a video or some small item on its own, and the ability to include the media content inline with your post. This will allow WordPress become a more complete hub of information.

He continued to discuss WordPress as a hub noting that people’s blogs will become their best possible social profile and they intend to make it so when you post something on another social site such as Twitter or YouTube it will work on WordPress. Of important note there he mentioned that your data will live on your blog and in your database so you don’t have to worry if the other site goes down, you will still have all the data and stay in control. This hub system is a long term goal of their team.

BackPress is another system he discussed which will help show the underlying framework for WP and Theme Press, their user systems, internationalization, security systems, etc. making it easier for developers to make use of the WordPress base.

Another exciting development in the works is BuddyPress. This will allow users to have take a group such as a Boy Scout, church, or team and build a small “Facebook in a box” type of system in which you can have a full set of plugins and extensions that build a small social network with activities, profiles, interests, photos, groups etc. – all in a small private group. BuddyPress will allow small groups the ability to develop their own public or private social-networking site.

Mullenweg also discussed an improved feedback loop – trying to incorporate user feedback and testing earlier in the process of making updates. A core goal with this is the desire to incorporate more “normal” people in the process of development.

Mullenweg also mentioned how he feels that this is the year of themes. While everything used to be plugin driven, themes are really taking off with new automatic plugins built into them. They are being used for things such as a monotone theme which can make your site change the backgrounds to be complimentary to the photos you are updating.

What Else if Coming Up for WordPress?

Launching sometime in the near future will be WordPress.tv which will be a video site with screencasts that will show WordCamp videos including key speakers. This service will be searchable, include tags, and will also include HD video content.

Some Interesting WordPress Statistics

WordPress Usage Statistics:

This article is about “Products every man should have”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Products every man should have”:

Who else is interested in making their penis bigger? Did you know that some studies suggest that over 70% of men have at least some sort of size insecurity? It’s true…and in my experience as an author and owner of a popular blog on men’s health, I can tell you from first hand experience that there is NO bigger common concern than size. When it comes to think that we worry about as men…..everything else is a distant second to size.

But BEFORE you begin your next male enhancement program, there are critical questions I believe every man should ask. Why? Because believe it or not….each of our needs is unique. What may be important to me….may NOT be important to you, and the solution I seek should be contingent on MY particular situation, and not a one size fits all approach. (no pun intended..:-)

For example…..I would NEVER contemplate penile augmentation surgery. Nor am I a big fan of pills, herbs or supplements. So with this in mind, the questions I ask before I buy a product, or program are much different than many of the men who enjoy our articles.

With this in mind, here are 4 IMPORTANT questions I believe every man should ask before beginning any penis enlargement program or buying any product.

Filed Under: Is it 100% Natural?

This applies specifically to pills, herbs and natural supplements. Why is this important to ask? Because many “natural” products are full of fillers, pesticides and other decidedly UN-NATURAL ingredients..:-) Be warned: The FDA does not monitor many of the claims, or ingredients in many of these supplements, and if you aren’t 100% sure, I say STAY away!

Filed Under: Are the Gains Proven to be Permanent?

Because for most products on the market….the short answer is NO! The fact is, the vast majority of penis enlargement pills that DO work (which isn’t a lot) are very temporary in terms of the benefits they offer. You can count on an short term increase in blood flow….but that’s really it! (and if you are like me…..that’s NOT enough of a reason to buy them!)

Filed Under: Is there PROOF That They Do What They Promise?

The fact is, most of the enlargement industry is completely unregulated. That means most of the claims you read are NOT substantiated. So look for real reviews. Try to buy products that offer client testimonials, and offer solid statistics to back up their claims to boot!

I won’t buy any product, potions, pump, pill, pulley or lotion without some sort of money back guarantee..:-) As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t buy any of those anyway, but if I WERE to, I want to make sure I can get my money back if they don’t work. The fact is, my TOP recommendation is to always make sure you are protected with a money back guarantee when you purchase anything penis enlargement related. (its the 1 foolproof strategy for making SURE you’re satisfied with the results…100%!)

I have written in a previous article about the simpler ways to connect your blog into Facebook. Now we’ll go ahead a step further than that: we’ll create a Facebook Fan page.

It may sound a bit over-the-top to create a Facebook Fan page for your blog, but it could really help increase your blog’s audience share. With this, you can easily interact with your fans and discuss topics from your blog or anywhere else. The following instructions will help you create your very own fan page.

First, go to the Facebook Home page. From there scroll down to the bottom of the page then click the “Advertising” link. From the Advertising page, click the Pages link. Once the page loads, click on the “Create a Page” button. The next page will let you create your fan page. You have to choose your category and type in the name of the site you’ll be promoting. After that, you have to confirm that you have permission to create the page and then type in an electronic signature. This is a security measure on the part of Facebook. It is part of their Terms of Use that no user is allowed to make fake pages or “unofficial” fan pages and violators may get their accounts disabled. So just be careful.

After your page has been created, you have to customize it by putting up a logo, your blog’s and maybe your own information then publish the lot. Then you can start sharing it to your friends and begin building a fan base.

The Embedded Facebook Fan Page

In conjunction to your Facebook Fan page, you can take it up a notch by embedding your fan page in you blog. You can increase your fans this way, and you can also advertise your fan page which advertises your blog. XD

Anyway, there are three ways to go about this. You can either:

1.	Go large. You can show your streams and your fans. It will take a lot of space and it could be hard on your blog’s real estate. If you really need to save space, then you can try the second option.

2.	This just shows some of your fans and a count of the total fans you have in your page. This is the most used format in most blogs.

3.	The last option takes the least amount of space and the most simplest among the three. It is just a simple button with the fan page’s name and a bit telling your readers or users whether they are fans or not. If you have yet to start a fan base, I think opting for this button might be better, for obvious reasons.

Please remember though that changing the javascript to just show the “Become a Fan” button and nothing else, is against Facebook’s Terms of Service. The code can be tweaked, yes, but that violation could lead to your page’s termination. With that said, you can place the code in your site by going to this link. Select which items you want to include in your widget then click the “Other” button to generate the code you need to insert in your theme.

But if you want to bypass the hard coding part, then you can install the Facebook Fan Box plugin in your website. Well, whatever you decide, these will help draw more traffic to your site.

Wait for my next post about creating a Facebook Application for your website or blog. It won’t be easy, but it would be cool to know.

This article is about “Worldexpress website template”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Worldexpress website template”:
